Professional Development – To hold a license, it is a mandatory requirement to complete a minimum of 20 hours per annum of relevant education. We believe in continual learning and development in a rapid changing environment and each complete between 35-40 hours per annum. This enables us to provide up-to-date advice as legislation changes.
What qualifies us to be licensed? – Our Advisers have completed both the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic’s Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice (GDNZIA) and Graduate Certificate in New Zealand Immigration Advice (GCNZIA) which sets a high threshold for its qualifying advisers.
This is the only qualification approved by the Registrar of Immigration Advisers. While other advisers have been in the industry for a number of years, they somewhat lack the expertise to advocate on your behalf using the relevant New Zealand legislation to make a substantive case as not all LIA’s have completed the recommended course of study.
